I am the 2019 Van Dessel Conducting Scholar. This was an amazing achievement and something that I was delighted to be acknowledge for. Conducting became a big interest for me in my 3rd year of study and I really wanted to work to improve so that I could have as many skills as possible after college.

Also, because I received the award – I had to take part in leading the Dundalk Institute of Technology Choir through warming them up, taking sectionals, pursuing outside choral projects and conducting a piece at the Christmas Choir Concert. Here is a video of our 2019 Christmas Choir Concert:
